Chance for SatAM on DVD, Sonic Fans Unite! Options

Hi gang, this is Cosmic, Guardian of the Time Stones of the Micro Planet, keeping you upto date on the latest Sonic happenings in the UK.

During August, on the 16th, Volumes 3 & 4 of Sonic Underground are being released from Anchorbay Entertainment UK according to my reliable DVD supplier.

Remember, sales of Sonic Underground are our best hope to get the other two previous Sonic cartoon series released onto DVD, SatAM and AoStH.

Once again I remind everyone to help push the creation of these DVDs by simply viewing these threads and if possible reply with your support.

This company is not only releasing Sonic Underground, but they seem to be launching a new "Kids" series that's based on DiC titles, this is the best chance for the release of DVDs, and although it's in the UK, popular sales could eventually mean a global release and worse comes to the worse, Multi-region DVD players and PAL compatible TVs are not uncommon. With the amount of Sonic merchandise/hype at the moment now's the time for us to show the companies how much Sonic means to us, and how much potential there is for them to make money simply by releasing old series on DVD.

UPDATE: After a quick message to the webmaster, pointing out the 38 reply, 1270 views thread, he answered it was only a "handful of people", but on the plus he did say they'd "look into it". Please, please can people spread the word about Anchorbay topic, we need more hits, and replies.

So now is the time people, this IS it, I know you've been dissapointed before about SatAM on TV, DVD or whatever but Anchorbay are releasing DiC titles in the UK, classics like Inspector Gadget and Sonic Underground that have not seen the light of day in over a deckade.

Companies are motivated by money and interest, if every sonic fan signs up to that forum, posts a reply for their interest in owning such titles, even 2 copies (Hell I intend to have a spare set.), even if you're not in the UK, there are still ways to play it and until the US rights come to some resolution it's the only chance Sonic fans have. All we have to do is hit and post, we do that enough, enough people and they will do everything they can to get those DVDs made if they see a huge interest. They have no idea the popularity of the title, and they'll need to be shown just how popular it is.

1. View the topic, read the responces.
2. Sign up, reply to that validation email.
3. Click the administrator, Marc Morris' profile and email him, asking him to please validate you, maybe mention you're another Sonic Fan.
4. POST a reply, you want SatAM, desperately.
5. Email Anchorbay from their contact page, saying how great their Sonic Underground DVDs are, you're buying them and would definately buy further SU and SatAM DVDs they make.
6. SPREAD THE WORD, EVERY Sonic site should have this as their major news, emailing all members about it. It should be pinned on all Sonic Forums.

If every sonic fan did those 6 steps, I'm confident Anchorbay would release SatAM, they're doing SU, I see no reason why they couldn't do SatAM. Especially if they see the demand.

Come on, we need to SHOUT as a whole community, we don't get many chances for Sonic goodness like we should, when the opportunity arises, we should go for it, no matter what country you're in.

If I hear anymore news, I'll keep you posted as usual.

Sonic SatAM Fans please read

You're all doing brilliantly, but please can I ask you to STOP PM'ing and emailing the webmaster, we have been heard and according to FUS, Anchor Bay do not currently have the rights to SatAM on DVD, HOWEVER they are actively looking acquiring them as they've requested details from FUS webmaster Kanshisha who supplied them with plenty of information.

Thank you everyone, all you need to do now is cross your fingers and watch this space.

Hopefully Marc (webmaster) or an Anchor Bay representative will keep us uptodate.
