You read right, folks. After a month of preparation, GameBuddy and I have at long last finished our super special awesome secret project...a full radio-show-style podcast! We've recently completed the first episode, which is now available for your listening pleasure!

Check it out!

We're going to be doing one new episode each month, with plenty of reviews, radio plays, fanfic adaptations, and much much more. In fact, we've got a special treat for next show that, if all works out, will absolutely BLOW YOUR MIND...but I don't want to give away the surprise just yet. rolleyes.gif

Of course, the show is nothing without its fans, so if you have any comments, criticisms, or ideas you'd like to see implemented, be sure to post them here! Also, we're currently looking for a more permanent means of hosting the show, as YouSendIt will only host files for about a week, so if you have any suggestions, don't hesitate to let us know!

For now, though, enjoy the show everybody! I'll be sitting in that corner over there complaining about the crappy quality of my microphone...

*edit: Can someone fix the topic title, please? I'd rather not be known as "Cyberink" from now on...it makes me sound like some sort of robot pen or something...*

Cyberink eh? You'll make a fine virtual pen! But seriously, both of you did a great job on this! The whole Youtube and Yu-Gi-Oh at McDonalds segments were pretty funny, and I thought the review is unbiased which is a plus. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to the next episode!

Seriously, let us know what you think folks, as we plan to keep this going as a monthly thing. Monthly lets us keep it at it's current length and also gives us PLENTY of room for screw ups. Because they're bound to happen. =P

I was hoping it would come off as scary and not just cheesy.

Ah, good to see you guys are still doing this sort of thing after both the radio shows seemed to go kapootski. You do Pretorious well GB, and I liked that Psychonauts review CyberLink - Apart from the fact I've never seen it in any stores around here >_<

I enjoyed the humorous sketches, and you two seem to work extremely well together. Can't wait for next months installment. Good to see you're giving yourselve's plenty of time to get it done, but if it's done early do we have to wait that whole time?

I do have one suggestion. At the very start of the podcast, It says "Feauring Gamebuddy and Cyberlink!" and then it says "Starring uh, Gamebuddy and Cyberlink!" In my opinion, the same thing is being said twice. So it could of said "Feauring Gamebuddy and Cyberlink!" and then "Ladies and gentelmen, your hosts, Gamebuddy and Cyberlink!"

Well, that was kind of the point. ^^; I did that purely for comical reasons. In the future, we may have guest stars, but for right now it's "GameBuddy and CyberLink."

That was really great. Funny sketches, a review that actually made me want to buy the game (the Psychonauts one), and a decent Pretorious voice. Great that there's audio entertainment instalments to look forward to again.

Top notch, Cyberlink and GameBuddy.

I really liked the music. What's the song that plays at the beginning after the introduction?

It's a cover of "Carry On Wayward Son" by The Showdown, originally performed by Kansas.

Darn my lack of internetness. I want to listen and the yousendit link will be gone by the time I get back. D=

Any chance you guys could upload the eps to rapidshare.com at some point? It's more fiddley to download, but the file stays up until like, no-one downloads it for a year.

I personally take charge of keeping the YouSendIt link up to date and will continue to look for a way to permanently host the files.

I really don't want to use RapidShare, mostly because it's complicated, unreliable, and the ads are just plain nasty.

HA! How ironic...I mention the potential inclusion of Pitfalls as an item in SSBB, and lo and behold, they're in today's update!

*starts repeatedly chanting that Stafy will be a playable character*

I suggest you use mediafree. It's free, no registration required, and the file stays up on there for a long time.

Well, I listened to it yesterday and loved it. Unbiased reviews, great humour, and Turrican's Fan-fic. What more do you want?

I really liked the part where you guys were talking about SSBB and had to dig around for the microphone. That had me ROFLing. XDXD

Heh, thanks. I actually made the sound effects by recording myself digging through a massive tub full of Legos... tongue.gif

And as for what more I could want...let's start with a higher-quality microphone/recording, and we'll work our way from there.
