Sonic the Hedgehog OAV: Nice, fun, short, and a great time killer.
Sonic the Hedgehog SatAM: Undoubtedly the best Sonic storyline ever conceived for a cartoon. The reason this isn't on top of the OAV is because the former is more light-hearted and easier to watch than the depressing latter, but that doesn't make SatAM any less awesome.
Sonic X: The first few episodes blew me away, and the entire series up to episode twenty-six were fairy decent. After the game adaptations finished, though, Sonic X went way off-balance and couldn't even find a good rope to stand on.
Sonic Le Rebelle: Yeah, I actually think this is a lovely cartoon, and the songs are pretty cool at times, too. The French version is in all ways superior (except for some of its songs), and Sonia's voice is simply adorable. I want to meet that woman and marry her.
The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog: Eh... not very fun at all. It was basically a traditional slapstick American comedy with Sonic characters and named stuck in it. Kind of killed the whole point of the ongoing Sonic-vs-Eggman concept as Robotnik in here seemed more like a wannabe-villain jerk rather than an actual villain.

1. Sonic X - awsome animation and characters from the games guest star
2. Sonic OAV - found it funny and awsome at the same time. Metal Sonic made his only animated appearance in this movie (Unless he appears in the new Sonic X series)
3. Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog - has alot of slapstick comedy and was the only american Sonic cartoon to stick close to the games. Tails had alot bigger roles in this series.
4. Sonic the Hedgehog (SatAM) - Based off the infamous Archie Sonic comics. Alot of adventures and was action packed.
5. Sonic Underground - Knuckles' first appearance in a American Sonic cartoon. Sonia's VA is a guy. And there was no Tails.

1: Sonic X, because the art was good(in most episodes anyway) and it featured most of the characters from the games.
2: Sonic OVA, because it's fun to watch with lots of action.
3: Sonic the Hedgehog, because it has good plots(with cool robots as well), but all of the unofficial characters brought its score down.
4: AoSTH, because it's sort of childish.
5: Sonic Underground, because I've never seen it.

I once saw a sonic episode where sonic & tails were like you know buddies. A team. But i can't recall the name.

So the only Sonic series i know & watch is Sonic X, which is great. Good animations, good drawings (can you say that), and characters taken straight out from the games.
