Sonic Cd Amy Rose?, anyone like her? Options

Chibi Amy Rose
i find her so cute but its hard to find a club or pics of her
cause evrybody likes the new Amy rose (me too i love her)
but i do feel chibi amy rose is left out now
for the ones who dont know who Chibi Amy Rose is

Yeah, I like oldskool Amy too. I didn't think she looked -that- much like Sonic with the 3 spikes... she was cute. ^^ Though, newer Amy is pretty cute as well...

Out of all the versions of Amy though, I like Fleetway Amy best. She was cool... I thought it was better having a tomboy-ish character. There isn't really any characters like that in the games... plus, I like her crossbow better than the PikoPiko Hammer.

I like the way she is now in the Sonic X. But where did the hammer come from?

I didn't mind the old version, but those clothes were just horrid. That shade of green really doesn't go with pink fur. Honestly.

EDIT: I think Amy first got her hammer in Sonic The Fighters. It makes sense, since she can't fight well on her own. Along the same lines, she's the only character besides Eggman who drives a vehicle in Sonic R.

Y'know what, I was about to say exactly the same thing, despite starting out as the amy we now know from the games, she really started to mature through the fleetway comics. Her original 3 spiked look was nice, but when they adapted her new look in the comic at least she still appeared 'the same' if you know what I mean.

Frankly, I don't see what all the fuss is about. You only see Amy get kidnapped by Metal Sonic in Collision Chaos and briefly at the end of the game.

How did Amy go from her Sonic CD look to her current look? I heard something about her making a wish or something in the comics to change her look. Any truth to that, or scans of the issue if it's true?

I saw archie comic scans where Amy was changed to her new look, she wanted to be older and some guy helped her with that. But I think that was made up by archie, no one knows what is the real story that supose to be presented by SEGA i think. I think she just grown up and changed her looks.And in Sonic CD Sonic doesn't look like he is 16 years old or something, he looks on 11/12, so if Amy was 8, the 3 year differents of age between them would be correct. In Sonic X they're probably 4 years after Metal kidnapped her. I think so. I never watch Sonic CD, is it just a game or some short story showed in animated version? I saw that gif how Sonic is rescuing Amy, and she closes her eyes, where's that scene from? From the game?

This is the part where you have to get your head out of the plot and accept that it's just a GAME. Amy's looks changed because Sonic Team thought they could do better, and they were right. Actually, all the Sonic characters were given a redesign for Sonic Adventure. Sonic got his cooler longer spikes, Tails and Knuckles got a miniscule colour-alterations and some minor redesigns, and Eggman got an outfit that didn't look silly.

About the only character who has gone unchanged since the start is Metal Sonic (not counting his upgraded armour in Sonic Heroes, since he changed back to normal at the end).

On the left, screenshot of the Sonic Heroes version of Metal Sonic. On the right, the regular version, which has gone unchanced since its original appearance in Sonic CD, and which Metal changes back into at the end of Sonic Heroes.

The Sonic Heroes version has much longer and sharper spikes, shoulder pads, thicker armour, a cape, and various altered tidbits.

But her old style isn't "Chibi", just so you know. Chibi is the art style often used at silly moments in animes, when they draw the characters younger looking, usually with mere stumps for arms, and generally completely basic and out of proportion.

Chibi means cute and small in Yapenese
or also means cute character with big head

i like both Amy rorsses i wish
Chibi Amy could be the little sister of Sonic or the new Amy rose
i dont like the fleetway Amy that much

Like i always say you learn something new everyday anyway i think amy is good for sonic,Sonic loves her but hes too proud to admit it as i reckon he'll think he'll respect from his comrades and foes.
