Sonic X (new Series) Confirmed Options

As said in the sub title, half confirmed. But anyway...

It's just been brought to my attension a page belonging to some japanese Art Directors (for sceane BG's I do believe). Upon the translation of this page, along the top states "Sonic X (New Series) with what appears to be "Date Uncomfirmed".

So, as I siad, it's comfirmed now, but it still gives us high hopes of a whole new series after hearing nothing other than the first rumor bacnk in March.

If anyone finds anything else out.. let us know!

The new series is now confirmed based on the infomation that we've been geting to quote from a part of a letter for 4kids that Chibigoku got:

And finally, 5th. Recently, TMS is animating 26 more episodes of Sonic X, which are scheduled a tentative April release, according to TVTokyo's Staff Member. Out of curiosity, Does 4Kids have any plans of airing these episodes?

Yes!  Very soon, we’ll be going into production on the brand new Sonic episodes.  I believe they’ll start airing this Fall...so keep watching! .

This means that the new eps will be dubbed which confrims thier release in Japan.

Ok. Wait. A new SERIE'S? Or more new epsisode's to the SERIE'S already going on? Or episode's already made but have not been shown yet in ENGLISH but have been shown to the other one's not in ENGLISH? Or something else? It could also just mean that the one already out is new. And that the one is just considered new.

They booked SonicX (new series)in their work list as the work in progress now.
But airing date/time and broadcast station are undecided.
Thus, it remains half unconfirmed yet.

Well if it's confirmed, I think they can make more eps easily. They came up with so many games. I'm sure they can come up with more story too. I mean look at episode 1-26, they were made without taking much from the game at all.

Well I'm glad to know it's booked to be worked on. It would be a shame if the show completely stopped. Considering it's the best Sonic show IMO. I would love to hear it being completely confirmed.

My friend suposely got this E-mail from Junich kanemaru (Sonic's JPN VA) and this is what it says.

SonicX finished, and half a year has already passed.Now, the new
adventure of Sonic in the new future.
Although I can't say untilit's about an official annnuncement,new

Humans including Chris which appeared in SonicX,

An easy way to outwit the shark-jumping events of episode 52 would be to do a flashback serial. The Sonic 2, Sonic 3 and Sonic&Knuckles stories would be ideal for such a serial, particularly for the freedom of storyline direction granted by the very lacking plot in the games themselves.

Just a thought. Likelihood is still great that there won't be a new series at all, but one can certainly hope.

And I agree with Papersak, Christmas Specials are the best eps. Just look at Digimon Series 2! I wish I still had that on tape.....
