Do you think Ryan Drummond's issue (in the sonic world) was similar to Scott Innes' issue with Scooby Doo. Like for instance do you think in the new scooby doo games Scott will be replaced with Frank Welker just like Ryan Drummond will be replaced by Jason Griffith in the new sonic games? Don't forget Scott get rejected from "What's New Scooby Doo" for Frank just like Ryan was rejected from "Sonic X for Jason

P.S. which va you like better Scott or Ryan and who's better?

I like Ryan, he's better. I'm not much of a Scooby-Doo fan.

Ryan Drummond, of course!! Out of all the English voice actors I've ever heard, he's one of my favourites, for sure. That's why I was quite upset to hear that he wouldn't be doing Sonic's voice again... I'm still really mad at SEGA for replacting him, just like that. Still... best not to rant about it here, since I've said enough on the matter already.

'Sides, I'm not a major Scooby-Doo fan... I never even knew who Scott Innes was exactly, till I read this.

Scott Innes (http://imdb.com/name/nm0409186/) and Ryan Drummond (http://imdb.com/name/nm0238590/) both rock! and I even think they're better than the older voices of Scooby and Sonic.

Ryan Drummond is best, no contest (I didn't intend that to Rhyme).
Ryan is an excellent voice actor and is fantastic as Sonic's voice. Sonic.gif

I've heard of Scott Innes before but didn't know much about him.

Off Topic: True, I used to Like Scooby doo as a Kid( the old Ones) but the New scooby doo on kids wb sucks because they Canned Scrappy doo, he was awsome, and although he made a cameo in the first live action scooby doo as the villian

On Topic: nothing can top Ryan drummand

Ryan Drummond by a long shot, there is nobody that could capture the voice of Sonic better than him. I'm with Lucky, I'm still shocked and upset over that incident with Sega. I hope one day he will be back he will be missed.

I'm not that much of a Scooby-Doo fan myself. I just never understood it. I liked it when I was little, but nowadays I don't have much of a taste for it. *shrugs*

Ryan for sure. It's because of him that made Sonic the Hedgehog games the greatest (as well as game play. Dun forget that XP) in English.

Hmm... Scoooooooby dooooooby dooo! How wierd can his voice can get? I like Scooby doo, if you ask me. But I wouldn't care much about voice though for scooby.

I don't hate Scooby Doo... I just said I'm not a major fan. I still watch it every now and then if I'm really bored and there's nothing else on... old episodes, anyway. 'What's New, Scooby Doo?' was pretty crappy, if you ask me... I didn't think it was anywhere near as good as the older episodes.

And since your asking this question in a Sonic forum, you should expect most people to choose Ryan Drummond... XD; I haven't really seen a lot of Scooby Doo fans 'round here... well, not that I know of, anyway.

Ryan, of course! I'm also very dissapointed that Ryan has been replaced with Jason. But, in the gameplay trailers of ShtH, Sonic sounds like Ryan. Listen very carefully, i does. I like Scooby Doo, but I don't like him now as much as I used to a long time ago.

I don't necessarily think that the Scooby Doo VA replacement and Sonic VA replacement weigh in the same.

Frank Welker is a well renowned voice actor who had provided the voices for several classic 80's shows, which include being both Dr. Claw/Brain in Inspector Gadget, Megatron, Galvatron, and Unicron for Transformers, etc.

I'm not going to say that it was a good thing to replace Scott Innes, but I would like to hope (and hope I must) that whoever was doing voice actor calls thought that some talented experience was needed.

On the other side of the spectrum, Ryan Drummond was replaced without even the slightest notice until he went to inquire about it himself. =/ And I don't think that being told that you've been canned because the company desires 'product continuity' is the same/similiar thing as being replaced for someone with a better background in the field. =/

yeah I thought so too. I mean not many people knew who Jason Griffith was before he got the role of Sonic on Sonic X right?
